Electronics Devices Worldwide Pvt Ltd. (EDWPL) was established in 1974 by two qualified and hard working engineers to indigenously produce High Frequency Dielectric and Induction heating equipments. Over the last four decades the company’s focus has remained undeterred.
Induction heating machines were introduce with a focus on introducing new applications. Many applications were developed for the automobile, diamond tool and refrigeration industry.
We introduced induction cap sealing for the first time in India for Procter & Gamble’s VICKS Vaporub. A 5 KW induction cap sealer was supplied to deliver a production of 300 Bottles Per Minute
Air cooled induction sealing machines in India were developed and supplied by EDWPL. As per customers requirement features were added for monitoring & diagnosis.
EDWPL had introduced his first welding inverters. SigmaWeld Welding Inverters are 100% indigenously designed, developed and manufactured by our own R&D team.Even PCBs are developed, designed and Manufactured in-house.
In the year 2010 Electronics Devices acquires land at Umbergaon to set up its new factory spread across 7 acres.
Further this facility of 50,000 sq.ft. ready factory taken and started production of automation systems and further expansion of welding equipment, induction sealers and induction heaters.
EDWPL established full fledged welding automation division with design team based out of Pune office and execution team in Mumbai and Umbergoan. Having years of expertise in material handling and automation for induction heating , induction sealing and packaging automation, this was a natural expansion possible.

EDWPL developed the PWHT induction heater to specially cater to the welding requirements of pre and post weld heat treatment of metals with induction technology.
In this year the Pro series was launched. Sigma Weld Pro Series is State of the art digital welding technology operating at 150kHz. Ensures very quick response time and better welding performance each time. The modular technology helps increase duty cycle up to 100% and ensures maximum machine up time.
Developed new SigmaWeld Accelerated TIG (S.W.A.T) a keyhole welding mode. This Increases the speed of welding multifold compared to traditional GTAW process. No edge preparation , No root gap, Nofiller material upto 10mm required. Speeds upto 1000mm/min achieved
ALEX DX - SigmaWeld Alex DX is Pulse Tig Welding Machine with inbuilt water cooling unit ,Wire Feeder and Hot Wire System. This helps increase welding speed in GTAW by more than 40% in manual applications. Alex DX industry 4.0 compatible records arc on time, welding current, voltage, wire feed rate, hot wire settings etc for each job. You can get a log of weld records for each job processed.
